European Mobility Week
Since 2002 EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK has sought to influence mobility and urban transport issues, as well as improve public health and quality of life. The campaign also gives people the chance to explore the role of city streets, and to experiment with practical solutions to tackle urban challenges, such as air pollution.
During Mobility Week in Malmö, Friisgatan became the venue for the event. The street served as an arena for activities on the theme of “Smart Mobility – Strong Economy” and was designed to benefit the human being, with pedestrians and cyclists in focus. On behalf of the City of Malmö, I came up with a couple of temporary lighting installations, with the aim to create a festive lighting design to support the event.
